Tackle Football at North Henry 

At North Henry Athletics, our tackle football program is where champions are made, and lifelong memories are forged. Open to children ages 4-12, we provide a full-contact football experience designed to build not only athletic skills but also character, discipline, and teamwork.

North Henry Tigers Fall Tackle Football Registration

Registration for the North Henry Tigers Fall Football Season takes place online.

Registration Fee: $250 per child
The registration fee includes one game uniform (jersey and pants).

Late Registration:
Late registration begins June 21st and will include an additional $25 late fee.

Refund Policy:
No refunds will be issued after June 1st.

    Age Division Policy

    North Henry Tigers Athletics does not allow players to “play up” in age divisions. Each player must participate in the age group determined by their age as of July 1st.

    North Henry strictly adheres to the July 1st age cutoff date, and no exceptions will be made.

    Equipment & Team Fees

    Please note the following:
    ● Parents must purchase their child’s football equipment. The park does not provide football equipment.
    ● Team fees are separate from registration fees. Each coach or team parent will communicate the cost and items included in team fees.
    ● Please contact your child’s coach or team parent regarding team fees before completing registration.

    Player Identification Requirements

    Each player must provide the following:
    ● A Georgia ID
    ● A certified copy of their Birth Certificate (with a raised seal) to apply for the GA ID
    Birth certificates will be returned after all teams have been certified.

    Practice Information

    Practices can begin March 1st.
    ● Players may practice up to three times per week.
    ● The specific practice schedule will be determined after registration closes and teams are finalized.

North Henry is the standard.

Competing in the highly competitive GMYFL league, our teams play an 8-game regular season, with opportunities to advance to the playoffs and vie for league championships. Our tradition of excellence speaks for itself:

2023

5U and 6U teams crowned champions, with 9U finishing as runner-up.

2024

A record 8 teams reached the playoffs, 7U achieved back-to-back championships, and 10U fought hard as runners-up once again.

2025

For the second year in a row, we set a new record for teams in the playoffs. 11 teams reached the playoffs, with our 5U, 6U, and 8U being crowned champions, with 7U and 11U finishing as runner-up.

Our dedicated coaches bring a passion for the game and a commitment to shaping players into individuals of strong character while preparing them for the next level of play. From varsity high school starters to college athletes and even NFL stars like Will Anderson—2023 Defensive Rookie of the Year for the Houston Texans—the North Henry Tigers set the standard for excellence.

But it’s not just about the games; it’s about the community. Every season kicks off with a park-wide pep rally, highlighted by the biggest homecoming celebration in Henry County. The season concludes with unforgettable banquets celebrating the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our players and teams.
